Yokomo Drift Meeting Round-8 DVD

The first Drift Meeting event ever to take place in an outlying region, Round 8 was held at the Platopia-Wangan Circuit, a mecca for R/C car enthusiasts located in Tamano City of the Okayama prefecture. The Platopia facility provides a dream-like setting for R/C car enthusiasts, with an on-site parts shop, well-conditioned on-road and off-road tracks, and a locally-popular cafe/restaurant providing excellent meals. A special drift track was prepared for Round 8, and despite bad weather prior to the event, sunny skies prevailed throughout the duration of the event. Local attendance from Okayama and surrounding Chugoku and Kansai regions, as well as hardcore enthusiasts from as far as the Chuubu, Kanto and Kyushu regions made up the 125 entries. These titanium springs are not only lighter when compared to the kit springs, but also help to provide additional traction to suit a variety of different surfaces. A basic setup for mild understeer is to use the Medium spring in the front, with the Soft spring in the rear, but feel free to experiment with different spring combinations to find out which one best suits the surface you are running on.

SUPER SOFT◆BLUE
This newly developed Super Soft spring features a softer spring rate than the kit spring for enhanced traction. Troubled by lack of grip or a loose rear end? This is the spring for you!!

SOFT◆YELLOW
A soft spring designed to provide just the right amount of grip on fine-grit asphalt or slippery surfaces such as smooth concrete. If you are looking to upgrade your kit springs, start here.

MEDIUM◆PINK
Suited for relatively high grip surfaces such as rough asphalt or abrasive concrete. Try this spring in the rear if your car lacks reponsiveness, or would like it to handle more aggressively.

HARD◆GREEN
Designed for use on surfaces with very high grip, or to improve responsiveness. Helps the suspension provide responsive yet controllable drifting when using a high grip tire such as the 01R.

Yokomo Drift Meeting Round-9 DVD

The 4th event of the 2006 season, Yokomo Drift Meeting Round-9 was held on 6/17 at Yatabe Arena. 227 participants gathered for Round-9. Participants came not only from the local Kanto region, but from as far as Fukuoka, Ishikawa, Gifu, Fukushima, Yamanashi, Nagano, and Shizuoka prefectures.
