フロントドライブシャフトにはステアリングを大きく切った際にも駆動ロスの少ないダブルジョイント ユニバーサルシャフトを標準装備していますが、初回ロットの一部でジョイント部のネジ止めが緩めのものが混在してしまいました。お客様には大変お手数をおかけいたしますが、走行前にジョイント部のイモネジを確認し、緩いものは増し締めして頂くようお願いいたします。

また、分解やメンテナンスで再組み立てをする際には、ジョイントピンのDカット部分にイモネジが当たるよう注意をして組み立ててください。

The front of your BD9 is equipped with double joint universal drive shafts.  These produce a smoother steering feeling in the car, and our team almost always will use these.  However, when assembling your car, it is important to check that the set screws in the joint are fully tightened.  From the factory, the screws may not be tightened up enough, which can cause a failure of the part when you are racing.  So it’s always best to check these set screws when using a new drive shaft, and regularly between driving too.

When reassembling or performing maintenance, please also pay attention to the D-shaped cut out part of the joint, and make sure the set screw is visible at this point.
